Legacy of Patriots
Legacy is not what we do for ourselves, but what we do for the next generation. As President Reagan once said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.” Each veteran, at some point their life, has written a blank check payable to “The United States of America,” for an amount up to and including their life. The underlying mission of Legacy of Patriots is to continually commend and encourage this nature of service by featuring a newly inducted veteran each month.
Our
Process:
- First we interview the veteran or their family to get personally acquainted.
- Throughout the month we serve the veterans’ favorite meals, share their story, and allow customers leave them short comments of appreciation
- At the end of the month we present either the veteran or their family with a collection of customer memos, a final count of how many enjoyed the veterans’ favorite meals, a portion of proceeds donated to the charity of their choice, and a small personalized gift of utmost gratitude and respect from Honor Café.
The Veteran is then inducted into our exclusive institution, Legacy of Patriots, where their story is honorably commemorated and celebrated for decades to come!
